TMi commissioned us to create a webdrive and a range sponsorships for the release of the film Despicable Me. We were provided with a range of Minion animations courtesy of Universal Pictures / Illumination, which we integrated into a story of mischief and destruction, by designing and creating imaginary Boomerang head quarters in CG. Once the action was timed, Dave Hunt and Dan Edgley set about creating the animated backgrounds in Maya. Tom Hales then composited the Minions and backgrounds in After Effects.
